How to Install Macromedia Flash Player 7 Using apt-get
Now you are ready to install Flash Player.
- Click Applications in the overhead Panel.
- Select Accessories.
- Select Terminal.
- When the terminal opens, type
sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree.
NOTE: You will be prompted to enter your password.
You will see the following messages scroll in the terminal window:
- Reading package lists... Done
- Building package lists... Done
- The following extra packages will be installed:
- gsfonts-x11
- Suggested packages:
- mozilla-browser mozilla-browser-snapshot mozilla-firefox
- Recommended packages:
