Tutorials
For the lifetime of this website, the tutorials page has been the greatest struggle for me; not because I don't have knowledge that should be shared, but because I don't have a lot of time. I'm also concerned with providing tutorials that will actually help people with tasks they want to accomplish. As my interests change and my skill sets continue to develop, what I can write and what I want to write also changes. To that end, I've decided to completely reorganize this section of my site (and I've even considered just "dumping" it).
I previously have presented Linux related tutorials, but I don't spend enough time truly administering Linux to write much that hasn't been published elsewhere. I've written two books about Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and you'd think I'd have a lot of tutorial material available on that subject. While this is true, I've also lost a lot of my interest and momentum relative to MOSS. I'm ready to move on, but to what?
I've recently become more interested in working with GIMP: The GNU Image Manipulation Program and have started compiling a list of tutorials based on the what I've accomplished using this application, but posting them will have to wait. If you have a look at the link in the left side of the page, you'll see my first GIMP related tutorial, published appropriately enough, at the GIMPER.net discussion forum. More to follow.
